A New Yorker with a background in economics from NYU, he met Diogenes during their early ventures and helped scale their first fund. His experience across traditional finance and crypto gives him an instinctive edge in navigating complex markets – and a steady hand in guiding the firm forward.

Diogenes is a crypto investor, entrepreneur, and Thiel Fellow. His first venture, Patagon Management, an activist investing company that helped return $1B+ in assets to DAO investors. Patagon Management laid the groundwork for what would become Patagon Markets and the wider Patagon Digital Group, which in addition to Patagon Markets has proprietary trading and commodities arms.

Valentina oversees daily operations at Patagon Markets, spanning compliance, risk, finance, and technology. Raised across four countries, she brings a global perspective to building disciplined systems around ambitious ideas. Before joining Patagon, she worked in marketing strategy, public health research, and legal translation. A graduate of NYU, she now helps guide the fund’s day-to-day execution with equal parts precision and instinct.
